Pawsitive Pets — March 29, 2025

Pawsitive Pets 2025 was an absolute blast filled with tail-wagging excitement and unforgettable moments! The vaccination clinic made a huge difference by offering cost-free vaccinations for pets across the area, ensuring our furry friends are happy and healthy.

Can you imagine the joy? Pets and their humans came together for a day packed with fun at the free canine training sessions hosted by the Black Diamond Canine Assisted Learning Program and Rising Star Farms. The energy was palpable, especially during the delightful Pet Pageant at the Pocket Park!

And what a show it was! Here are our fabulous winners from the 2025 Pawsitive Pets Pageant:

  • Most Talented: Naveah—she stole the show with her impressive skills and undeniable charm!
  • Best Behaved: Weenie—this little star showcased perfect manners and a heartwarming spirit!
  • Best Dressed: Maleah Lynn—she ruled the runway with her fabulous fashion sense and flair!
  • Best of Show: Akila—she not only captured hearts but shone brightly in every category!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to cheer on the contestants, including our fantastic judges Madeline Lessley, Rosario Montgomery, and City Manager Brian Heverly. A special thanks to Sequoyah Animal Advocates, Inc. for generously sponsoring the fun prizes!

What an amazing day it was at the Pawsitive Pets festival! We can’t wait to see you and your pet at Pawsitive Pets 2026!
