Sallisaw Main Street Fall Festival & Chili Cook-Off
Sallisaw Main Street and the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Fall Festival & Chili Cook-Off (also known as Cruizin’ 64) is a day filled with delicious chili, classic cars, local vendors, and live music. Here are the main attractions:
- Chili Cook-Off Competition: Participants compete for trophies and annual bragging rights for best chili around! Festival goers can purchase a chili taster kit to get a sample of each entry, then vote for their favorites!
- Classic Car Show: Formerly known as “Cruizin’ 64”, contestants enter their unique automobiles into our yearly competition to compete in categories like Best of Show (Car), Best of Show (Truck), Pedal Cars, “Old School”, and more.
- Indian Tacos & Funnel Cakes: Community favorite treats! Get your Indian tacos complete with seasoned meat, fresh toppings, and all your favorite fixings piled high on perfectly fluffy fry bread – it’s a taste sensation you won’t want to miss! And, for dessert, funnel cakes with a selection of toppings to satisfy that sweet tooth. Available at the Pink Pig food truck beside the Pocket Park. (Pending Availability)
- Pop-up Shops: Check out a variety of street vendors who offer unique crafts, artisan goods, and delicious treats. Support local businesses and find one-of-a-kind treasures to take home with you.
- Live Music: Music makes gatherings even more lively, and that’s why we host live bands as guests for our Fall Festival! Each year may feature a different group, so more details will be provided closer to the day of the event.
